9am. Eight Champagne. Four regions. Two perspectives. This is how Top Drop starts.
This is a rare chance to taste Champagne through a single lens: place.
We’re pouring two wines from each of the region’s four main areas. One wine is from a house, the other from a grower. Rather than focusing on style alone, we zoom out to geography, exploring how each producer interprets the same ground in their own voice.
Montagne de Reims brings structure and depth through Pinot Noir. Vallée de la Marne offers fruit and generosity, led by Meunier. Côte des Blancs delivers Chardonnay with precision, chalk, and lift. Côte des Bar rounds it out with a riper, more expressive take on Pinot Noir from the south.
